Wednesday Word of the Week: FUGACIOUS

Saturday was the first day of Autumn, so it’s only fitting that this week’s word is FUGACIOUS: “Fleeting, fading quickly, transient.” Within the field of botany, fugacious can refer to blooms or leaves that wither rapidly. We prefer applying it to other topics, such as:

“The professor keeps showing us the most fugacious internet memes.”

“My love for my little nephew proved fugacious in the face of his loud shrieking voice.”

“That sunset it totally fugacious.”
