Multimedia Workshops

This semester, the University of Kentucky Writing Center is hosting four multimedia workshops for students of all levels.

There’s no previous experience or classwork required. Each workshop covers a playful, hands on activity such as taking photographs, making posters, and editing video. Experience the wide array of media that can be used in the Writing Center, and see how writing and composing plays a part in your life both in and outside of the classroom.

Here’s the skinny:

Workshops are held in the Writing Center on the fifth floor of the Young Library. All workshops are 4 to 6 pm, but the instruction and discussion time will be mostly 4-5 with the second hour time to work on projects. Workshops are led by Rachel Elliott, a visual artist and lecturer in the Division of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Media. For more info, email
