WordPress’s Official How-To Site

If you’re looking for more info than our Wildcats Write with WordPress site can give, take a look at WordPress’s own www.learn.wordpress.com .

It covers all the steps in a bit more detail, but it’s not filled with overly techie vocabulary. In fact, it avoids technical details and instead includes articles about how to choose a topic by brainstorming ideas, and how to start branching off that topic by composing posts. We especially like the blog organization sketch on a napkin:

 

There’s also a few great tips in the 10 Super Awesome Insider Tips.

The main drawback to WordPress’s own learn-to-use-wordpress site, unfortunately, is that it doesn’t feature nearly enough wildcats.
